About Vestar Coffee

The atmosphere at Vestar Coffee manages to strike a balance between cozy and modern, with soft lighting and thoughtful decor that invite both quiet reflection and casual conversation. The aroma of freshly ground beans fills the air, setting the stage for a coffee experience that feels deliberately crafted yet unpretentious. Among the items spotted on the menu, the single-origin espresso and carefully brewed pour-over stand out for their clarity and complexity, although some might find the pricing slightly higher than average in the area. As with many urban coffee shops, the seating arrangement can become a touch cramped during peak hours, which could disrupt longer visits or group meetups.

Browsing through various Vestar Coffee reviews reveals a pattern of appreciation for the baristas’ skill and the attention to detail apparent in each cup. The photos shared by patrons often capture not just the intricate latte art but also the inviting ambiance that draws customers in beyond the beverages alone. While the selection caters well to espresso and filter coffee enthusiasts, the limited availability of alternative milk options might pose a drawback for some. Despite this, the consistency in flavor and presentation suggests a strong focus on quality. The friendly, informed staff add a welcoming note, even if service occasionally slows when the shop gets busy.

Visitors to 40 Alexander Ave along Nakenohs Boulevard may find that the neighborhood cafe combines a thoughtful coffee menu with a relaxed vibe that fits the Ikoyi lifestyle. Its layout and lighting encourage lingering over conversation or work, and there is a subtle charm in how the space blends simplicity with an upscale touch. Given the range of options and the general experience, Vestar Coffee holds up well among Lagos’s growing scene of specialty coffee shops, presenting a solid choice for those seeking more than just a quick caffeine fix.

The best coffee I have had in Nigeria. The baristas were friendly and kind as well. Highly recommend.

One word to describe this place - amazing! I absolutely love how Vestar caters for all coffee needs. The space itself is well located and you can smell the coffee as you walk in. Quite something when you visit for the first time. The menu is diverse and you can select pastries to accompany your preferred beverage. The suya panini was delectable and filling. Had the chocolate milkshake as well as it tasted good. Asides from the food and aesthetics, the cafe is a nice spot to work out of. The customer service is really good too.

Great place and great coffee. I think these guys have got it right, thy know what they're doing. Their opening times are perfect for commuting professionals. And the customer service is stellar, they actually expect you to stay the day and get some work done. Who does that in Lagos?

This has a really nice vintage aesthetic and ambiance. It also doubles as a work station/work space, so you will see a lot of people working on their computers and enjoying the ambiance. It has a very pungent scent of fresh brewed coffee. You can go there with friends and kids to have smoothies, coffee or pastry. I love smoothies, so I had mango dream the first time and some weeks later, I told them to recommend any smoothie for me and they gave me sunshine flush, it was really sweet. Then I’ve also had one other smoothie (can’t really the name), carrot cake and banana cake. I really recommend carrot cake and mango dream smoothie.

One of the best places to come and read a book or prepare for an exam. They have a very good selection of coffee, tea and other beverages. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they play really nice music to add to the cool and warm ambience. There is a sitting space outside of you feel like having a talk in the outdoors or just want to have a quick smoke. The parking space is not fantastic, bit it is sufficient. Just come early, park and plan to leave late. The food is fine, not much to pick from but they stay true to the coffee shop brand. They have a few sandwiches and nice pastries. You must try the banana bread and ice-cream combination. I highly recommend this spot.

Affordable. Hot coffee. Open on Sunday mornings. If you order the banana bread it comes with free ice cream so you already know that's a plus. If you get your coffee and you are halfway into it and need more cream, you can ask for some. They have books and games you can use to pass the time. Great for doing some work on your laptop or personal reading. They have some jazz playing in the background. If you're lucky you might meet your favorite celebrity getting coffee.

I liked this cafe! This is a nice quiet and laid back spot to get work done. I spent well over 6 hours doing work there and no one bothered me or gave looks. Of course I patronized their business so if you're going to spend a lot of time there, plan to buy somethings. It's only fair given they provide free WiFi and such a comfortable environment. I love that the soft music in the background was jazz.
